No Flag Inspection scheme in force. Pre-registration inspection and/or occasional Flag Inspection may be requested on specific cases based on vessel’s records and performance.
Although the Flag is listed in the Black list of paris and Tokyo, is strongly recommended.
There is a strong Merchant Shipping Act. Very good co-operation of Government with the International registry. Flexible and fast response on administrative and Technical matters. Very experienced on Mortgage registration issues.
It is expected in the next 1-2 years to return in the Grey List.
Also is one of the very few countries issuing Fishing Licenses for High Seas.
